InsoleX RF

WaveX has a new exciting addition. Pressure sensitive insoles, powerful and perfectly integrated.

Seamlessly integrate InsoleX into your WaveX set up. Add foot pressure information and other gait parameters to your workflow with our new InsoleX system

A move beyond EMG and IMU

InsoleX is a new pressure sensitive insole system that features state of the art resistive technology. 64 points record foot pressure information offering significant advancements for medical, research and sport applications compared to the traditional foot-switch technology. These innovative insoles help you assess foot morphology and weight distribution allowing for real-time analysis.

  • 64 points
  • 100 Hz sampling frequency
  • 8 bits or 16 bits resolution protocols
  • Up to 500 Hz IMU raw data
  • Synchronous with EMG and IMU signal from WaveX sensors
  • 18 hours of battery life
  • 4 available sizes

Individually calibrated

Calibration is crucial to ensure accurate and reliable data. Proper calibration minimizes errors and inconsistencies. This is particularly important in medical and biomechanical applications, where precise pressure readings are essential for diagnosing conditions, designing orthotics, and monitoring rehabilitation progress. Each one of the 64 pressure sensitive points undergoes a calibration process to ensure good accuracy. The calibration curve is stored in the insole itself and the loading is automatic, a truly seamless user experience.

Fixed delay

All our EMG systems have been developed in order to have a fixed delay from the acquisition of the signal to the analog output.

Diversity receiver

The «Diversity Mode» technology used by our EMG systems minimizes the effect of wave reflections from walls or objects.

Inductive charge

The inductive recharge technique for EMG and inertial transmitter has been develop by Cometa and has been used in all our systems since 2005.

Synch data logger

The sensors are always synchronous, regardless of their number.

Software

The latest EMG and Motion Tools update introduces a suite of new functions tailored to the InsoleX pressure sensitive system. These enhancements include real-time pressure mapping both in 2D and 3D, which provides detailed visual feedback on foot pressure distribution. Additionally, the new features offer a full set of gait parameters, a center of pressure map (CoP) and improved data analytics tools, enabling users to track and analyze pressure patterns over time for better injury prevention and performance optimization.

All the data you need

All new graphs and visualizations. EMG and motion tools now has a completely new package dedicated to the InsoleX system. You can view:

  • Map of sensors
  • 2D pressure map
  • 3D pressure map
  • Minimum, maximum and average value line graphs
  • Select specific areas (toe, metatarsal, middle foot and heel)
  • Center of pressure graph
  • IMU data
